New Stereo For Mk5 Zetec S

Featured Replies

Hi all,

I'm looking at purchasing a new stereo for my mk5 fiesta Zetec s.

Is there anything essential that I need to buy to have a new stereo installed?

A specific fascia or anything like that?

Thanks in advance.

A MK V fiesta has a din and a half stock so you will need an adaptor (available at Halfords). That's all the specialist kit you'll need. You may need a loom adaptor also. Again, available at Halfords.

I'd recommend looking in Halford for what you need (What Jake stated), and then looking online, Halfords charge £20 for the fascia, and then another £30-£40 for the steering wheel control cable. You can get a fascia kit for about £10 online which generally also come with aerial adaptors, and can get the cable for around £15-£20
