Fiesta Alloy Wheels Buckling

Featured Replies

I have just had to replace all 4 of my alloy wheels due to buckling. I have heard that there are a few people who have had this problem too. I have only had the car 9 months. The ford dealer where I purchased the car offered to pay for 2 wheels which I declined as I have heard the alloy they are using is not of a good quality.

Anyone out there in Ford land had or heard of this issue.

Its a well known issue on the mk7 fiesta's. I think the new alloys for the facelift fiesta (7.5) are meant to be alot stronger

i hope they are :P

best bet is to buy aftermarket, or if you dont care, just get steel wheels which are stronger than any alloy could be.

I got some smart black alloys from a specialist car place, and at half the price ford were going to charge, and they look stronger
