and i have asked the que if it will fit my standard 6000cd

they said yes it just fits straight in the rear, looking at the pictures its just a mini usb port like you get for your camera, is this correct?

    No, you can not use this product for your 6000 CD.

    This is only a USB / AUX socket and cable wich is specially designed for some of the Asian factory fitted Ford radio's. These radio's are totally different than the European Ford radio's and some models are equipped with an USB connection at the back of the radio.

    None of the European Ford radio's have the ability to connect a USB cable directly to the radio. Only the Ford/Sony radio's and travelpilot FX/NX satnav radio's can have a USB connection which is controlled by the optional Bluetooth/Voicecontrol system with USB functionality.

    The only way for a USB connection on a 6000 CD is the Ford USB Music Box or a similar device which often can be found on Ebay.
