Hi, Got a '61 plate Fiesta 1.4 zetec 6 months back, a big step up from the '01 Astra G it replaces. First Ford after many years of Vauxhalls and a Skoda and I'm loving the Fiesta.

Previous Fords include '58 Anglia 100E, '66 Cortina 1.2 Deluxe mk1 and a '73 Cortina 1.3L mk3, (all old and rusty by the time I got them, I'm still the right side of 60 - just!)

Not planning on doing anything much to the Fiesta, although I have invested in some winter tyres on steel wheels for the winter. I might do something subtle, (a stripe perhaps?) a there are so many black zetecs around.

Great site, I've been enjoying the Forums so thought it was about time I said hello.

    I like the idea of gel overlays, in fact I've got some chrome on black for the wheels and front & rear badges. Just need to get around to fitting them. That was where I saw the stripes, I was wondering about the single upper. But what colour for a black Fiesta?
