Noisy Central Locking

Featured Replies

My focus has started making an odd noise from the nearside rear door whenever I press the lock button for the second time (deadlock).

The car locks and unlocks find, all doors open when they should etc... From what I've read so far people are saying that the locking actuator is on its way out for that door.

Anybody have any other ideas?

mine does the same

And mine, been like it since ive had it (1 year) and so far no issues

Mine did it when I first got it, on the passenger side front door. Fixed under the original Ford warranty. Seems to be a common fault, although doesn't appear to have reoccurred. From what I've read (on here I believe) and seem to recall, it's a **tch to fix, as the door cards have to come out etc.
