2000 Focus 1.8 Diesel Black Smoke

Hi all I have a 2000 Focus 1.8 Diesel. The car was running great up until today. It will not start off the key in the morning but it will bump start eventually. Now when its running I have black smoke from the rear. Any body got any ideas what could be the problem?

Anyone I'm hearing loads of different things.

The list is low fuel pressure faulty injectors restricted fuel filter faulty pump turbo wastegate egr valve leaky injector seal crank sensor all will csuse black smoke and prevent starting so it needs codes read and all items checked which you cant do at home a garage trip it is

It was actually a faulty diesel spill off/injector pipe £2.99 & fixed.
