Problem With Abs Light!

Featured Replies

So my abs light/handbrake light has been coming on and off whilst driving quite a bit.. but recently it just stays on whether my handbrake is on or off... i have my MOT at the end of august, not looking good  :(

Ive had the switch checked out and its nothing to do with that, any suggestions?

Low brake fluid warning?

  • Author

Nope thats fine also

Unplug the brake fluid sensor with the engine running and the handbrake off, (get someone to help by pushing the brake so you don't squash yourself) if the light goes out it may be the sensor that is wrong, I guess you mean the handbrake switch was checked? And also I thought there was 2 different lights for the brake warning and the Abs or has yours got the older dial set with the arching temp gauge?
