Button Removal Help

Featured Replies

guys, how do you remove the front/rear heated windscreen buttons? i tried but felt it was gonna break

would it be easier to remove the unit with the buttons inplace, there may be clips on the back and push out from the back

Remove the radio fascia and you'll see two screws.

Undo those and the panel will come forwards.

Unplug the cable from the button you want to remove and push the button out with your thumb from behind.

There are lugs on two sides of the button casing but are more for tension to block the buttons coming out by accident.

I'll put up a couple of photos for you shortly.

Corection on my previous message, the lugs do need a bit of a push to release them.

Press top one in with something like a paintbrush handle/screwdriver blade while putting pressure on the rear of the button so the button shifts forward a bit then repeat with the bottom lug-

The blanks just push out with a little thumb pressure.
