Heated Screen Buttons

Featured Replies

Removed the left hand blanking plate next to the heated screen button and it had a plug with wiring anyone know what this could be for? maybe a potential mod

It's for if you want to fit a front passenger airbag deactivation switch in the glovebox.

When the bag is switched off for e.g a baby seat or childs booster seat the button fitted in that spare slot lights up.

If it's to the left of the heated rear screen switch then it could be for either :-

Passenger Seat Heating Control - four wires - Green/Yellow, Green/Red, Orange/Yellow and Black

Passenger Airbag Deactivation Warning Lamp - two wires - Black/Red and Green/Orange

---

Clive beat me to it as he types faster than I do. :)
