Dusty Fez

Featured Replies

On Friday evening, I thoroughly washed the car and polished for good measure. The paint was as smooth as silk and the windows crystal clear.

Today though, the paint is no longer smooth because the car is coated in dust (living on a main road doesn't help). I enjoy the heatwave despite my hayfever but the relentless dust is a bit of a downside. One advantage to a spell of heavy rain is that it washes it away.

Anyone else noticed this - particularly members with black cars?

Mine is Dark blue and I notice it, yeah. Tree sap also since mine sits on the drive. So annoying! I hose and chamois the car every few days to keep it clean though. :)

Hi Same here have got black and it gets dust on it just sitting in the garage. Time for a good wash (Wife says no time as I need to mow lawns) May just sit in the sun think about it and have a cold beer? (LIFE IS GOOD)

It's just one of those things I'm afraid :(

Mine gets bugs -.- bugs just fly on the car and decide it's their new home.

Literally as soon as you've finished washing it right?

Waxed mine today took it out of garage and had bees lol. Could this be the orange crush components? Lol

Worst thing that happened to me after spending couple hours washing and polishing some dirty great bird dumped all over it before i had time to put every thing back in garage.

My black fezzi too becomes an attraction for kamikaze flies and bugs that seem to want to glue themselves to the car immediately i have finished washing it!! :(

Washed and waxed my new Zetec S the other day, bird shat on the back window and its covered in dust/pollen as I too live next to a main road!

Yeah Dust is a pain in the bum
and
incoming fire from flying vermin

Yep I get dust on the car after I've waxed it. My vehicle is parked on the road too. I hate having a mucky car :(

yup mine seems to accumulate a great amount on the back rather than the front. ;)
