Mpg On Ford Fiesta Zs

Featured Replies

What sought of MPG are people getting out of the ZS?

Im only getting 43mpg but i do live very urban - stop - start every 3 -4 mins approx.

Just curious as supposedly we could get 66mpg (we never will i know) but just wondering whats the most people have reached.

cheers.

cant tell you for sure but my MPG is alot better when doing long commutes; (45min motorway to go to work) and using cruise control: If i take the back roads (which is also 10km shorter) i use double what i use taking th motorway lol

Just reached 500 miles on mine and getting 42 , mostly urban driving so far

About 39mpg.

Hmm,

(Dave i cannot read the link for whatever reason - it doesnt load).

Im going to try and drive very sensible the next few weeks (try) to see whats the best i can get.

Personally, not sure about you guys, but i think 42 is pants if its not being ragged around.

66mpg - my arm hole.

Can't understand why the link won't work. Works ok for me but basically it's a post I made about getting 59.5 and then 60mpg on a good run down the A38 to Derby. My car at that point hadn't hit 1500 miles and even now it's still running in.

I get mid 40's usually with a mix of slow town traffic and a short drive down the A38 on my daily commute

Who says I'm not ragging it ;)

Did a 100 mile round trip to Swindon and back, driving sensible on A road and motorway, not taking it above 70 ish got high end of 50 mpg, pretty impressed to be honest with the mpg figures so far.

Dave - Yep can open it this time (strange).

mid to late 40s i would be happy with. 60mpg on the A38 is very impressive.

Tom- haha (70ish lol) - you see 48 + and im happy.

Looks like i have gotta calm my driving down a lot. (Despite getting 5 for gear changing on the screen ^_^ )
