Top Rear Break Light

Featured Replies

This looks as though its not working.

Is this a general fault. Had a quick look at it earlier but couldn't see how it was clipped on? Not sure if its bulbs or the unit atm

It would also seem that the reverse lights don't work either -.-

Not sure they would be on the same fuse?

Plus can anyone tell me where the fuse box is

the fuse box is behind the glove box. Open the glove box, empty it, then squeeze the two sides of the glove box inwards. It should fold right down (if you havent emptied your glovebox this is where everything will be on the floor XD)

I have checked the fuses and it is not those. So now I need to get the bulbs checked. Do the rear lights just pop out once you have have removed the screws?

I don't want to rip em out and screw it up.

Hum There are the two screws on the light yes. And then behind the carpet in the boot there should be a sort of long plastic nut that looks like a butterfly at the end to help you turn it. Get your hand in the hole behind the light through te trunk and you'll find it. The plug for the light is back there aswell. But thank can be accessed when you pull the light out

I'm sorry forgot you were taking about the rear too light. What I was talking about was the rear normal ones lol. Sorry mate.

hi you may have a broken wire at the point it goes into the tail gate.as the inner cable can break (copper part) but not short out and blow the fuse

pull back the rubber and look for a bulge in the wire if this is the case cut wire, join at break, solder and re tape pull rubber back into place job done.

Cheers mate,

Luckily it was a blown bulb and led for the reverse and the boot lid :)

All sorted now.

Think the bushes maybe going on the front now as well -.-

Think it's gonna need a bitta work few hundred and it should be mint.
