Lester1102
I think it's the k&n 57i but don't quote me on tht but you will probably lose power unless you have a cool air supply running to the filter so you could just buy a k&n panel filter that will let the air in better and will be a fraction of the cost
FiestaZS90150
dont they have one on pumaspeed?
Willy
Yep there's a few on pumaspeed but wasn't sure which one as there's nothing specific to the 1.0 ecoboost.
wullie1515
Pumaspeed doo a Pipercross induction kit for £120 they say it gives gains of upto 6BHP AND 3Nm Torque :)

FiestaZS90150
Yep willy that's the one I was talking about. Are you going to get one?
FOCA
^^ induction kits made for the 4 cylinder NA engines (1.25L/1.4L/1.6L) won't work with 3 cylinder turbo 1L ecoboost ^^
FiestaZS90150
Why would that be? Lol
Lloyday
Same air filter as the model before you would need a ram air feed to the filter, looks good but not worth the hassle because you wont get a high enough return 2hp at best, panel filter will do and mayswell wait until your first service because the current filter is still pretty much brand new (also an ecoboost owner)
wullie1515
Hi, If you look at the fiesta mk7 zetec s 1.0 ecoboost section there is a specific pipercross induction kit for the fiesta 1.0 ecoboost :) when you click the link it says for 1.6 ? Weird! Goo too the website and search it up...it says for 1.0 ecoboost :) hope this helps http://www.pumaspeed.co.uk/product-Pipercross-Induction-Kit-Ford-Fiesta-Mk7-Ti-Vct_877.jsp

Willy
Yep looks like it's not for the EcoBoost engine :( Hard to find anything specific to our little 1.0 / 3 cylinder jobbies so going for a K&N filter for the time being.
dah
Hi don't forget to hold onto the old filter as you can pop it in for service/or any prob's you have to send it in for.
Willy
I usually leave them in and tell the guys not to change it. If the fiesta is like Focus service then they don't change it on the first service anyway.
wullie1515
When you click on the link it says for 1.6 etc but if you search the actual website it will show you a pipercross induction kit for the 1.0 :)

Sorry if that last post sounded cheeky too anyone.....it wasnt intended that way no worries =) i was just pointing out that i saw the same thing as you as it being under the MK7.5 1.0 ecobbost section=) now could someone explain why the kit couldnt work on a 3 cylinder engine? I dont understand why? (but i'm no mechanic) =)
Lloyday
It will work on a 3 cylinder engine the panel filter is exactly the sa.e as the 1.6 at the end of the day its only ducting, an air passage as long as it fits the induction pipe then you're good to go, it's not going ro interfere with the enginea fuelling or valve timing. Theres nothing electronic with an induction kit so smack it on
