Music In My Mk7 Fiesta With Android Jellybean

Featured Replies

Hi all,

Have had my '58 Fiesta Titanium (Mk 7) for a few years now and have always had an iPhone which I've used to play music via the Ford Y Cable. I'm thinking about upgrading my phone to the Samsung Galaxy Note II or Galaxy S4 and am wondering how its going to work with my Fiesta.

They both run Android Jellybean and wondering if (with an appropriate cable), my fiesta can play music from an android phone?

Going one step further, can you play music via bluetooth? And also have the control to skip the songs via the steering wheel buttons and to change playlist via the directional buttons on the dash etc. (I've tried this with my iPhone, the music plays but you can't skip songs)

If anyone can help it would be much appreciated, getting a bit fed up of the iPhone!

I Have an S4 and have previously had an S2.

Via Cable I do not know but via Bluetooth yes it works well,

I have noticed a small issue with the name not always displaying correctly (S2 did not have this problem) but this is minor and normally fixes itself, full steering wheel control as well.
