Yet more problems with the Metal!

Whenever I use V Power and drive off (in the mornings especially), the car jerks violently as if its going to stall...despite how much you use the gas pedal!

Give it a good blast then the problem is gone...until the next time I drive it.

Has anybody got any ideas what it could be, before I take it in for its first service?

Oh and its a 62 plate with only 7500 miles on the clock...help! :(

I currently have a corsa vxr well until tomorrow when my fiesta arrives and I have run it on v power for 3 years and that happens to me every morning even more so when its freezing temperatures.

Hmm, that is interesting!

It used to be fine on the old V-Power, but ever since its been changed to Nitro+ the car has been awful at first drive off. Apart from that the full tank lasts longer and performance does seem better!

Any idea what the cause of your problem was?

The problem with mine is its a vauxhall ;) I've never known qhy it does it although I can say there are a lot of people who live around my area that use v powwr and some of them have had problems with the cars since the petrol has been changed.

What other fuel would you recommend instead?

iv never had any problems with my forfour or my mums focus

Well I only use shell v power or texco techron I tend to stsy awsy from supermarket fuels as in my opinion they are cheap for a reason. :)
