I have a Mk6 ford fiesta pre-facelift, i want to change the silver rings on the air vents and i am just after some advice on how i would do that ? any sort of information would be grateful

Best thing to do is use one of the touch up pens to 'colour them in'

would that stick and work? something like a sharpie?

I mean more like a touch up paint pen ie for scratches in your car paint. Either that or halford sell a range of spray paints, if you get a can of the colour paint you want, spray it into the lid so that it puddles up slightly and get a fine paint brush and paint them

ive bought some spare rings and vents off ebay and painted them, but the touch up pen idea seems a good one to foolow tbh

Ah sorry I didnt realise youd already bought other rings. The only way to change them is to remove the dash I believe which is abit of a nightmare to be honest. Im fairly certain there's no other way to change them over otherwise

If the rings are similar to the ones in the mk7 they come out after going around the edge with a thin flat bladed screw driver or similar to undo the clips
