Mk5 Fiesta Zetec S Camshaft Blown - What Engine To Fit!!!?

Featured Replies

Hi everyone - thanks for checking out this topic!!

So Ive got a 2001 fiesta zetec s which has been alright up until recently. I literally had the clutch done under two weeks ago and two wishbones costing 410 quid and now after giving it a bit of welly on Sunday it has decided to pop the camshaft (confirmed by a mechanic.)

Now I have a friend who has a 99 focus who has said I can have his car but what I want to know is how well it will run. I bought the car off my uncle after he got it cheap because someone had blown a hole in the side of the standard block so I know the current block isn't the right one for the rest of the running gear.

I just want to know if the focus block will go onto the rest of my running gear along with the brand new clutch ive put on it under two weeks ago!!!
