Ford Fiesta Mk6 Steering Wheel Wrap?

Hi, my fiesta steering wheel is really not in its best condition, in fact there are rips and tears and the leather has worn out. it looks horrible, i was wondering if there is something to wrap it with that would perhaps hide this? ive tried the leather wrap where you have to stich it on, this worked but then after a couple of months it was coming loose and ad to go, also tried a basic steering wheel cover but you can still see it.

now i was thinking of wrapping it all with tape, but what kind of tape can i use? something like carbon fibre look tape would look great but i cant seem to find one online? please help, thanks in advance

What about a steering wheel cover? Cheap and looks alright :)
