Hi Guys

I noticed a Econetics Technology badge on the rear of my Titanium 1.6Tdci 115 bhp model

and i thought this was only available on the lower bhp models ??, but digging around on net I found

pics of radiator shutters open and closed, so I looked through my lower front grille and low

and behold they are also fitted to my car....!!!

Now the question as my car has not been driven at all today, and still cold, I observed

them in the open postion, horizontal , should they not be in vertical position, outside

ambient air temp is 66 deg f at the moment with car parked on drive

An electronically controlled grille

opens automatically depending on

engine condition and driving speed,

to improve air flow efficiency and

lower fuel consumption. Additionally,

the Active Grille Shutter helps the

engine to warm up more quickly in cold weather

So its not just for weather conditions its to divert air flow.

Thanks for that info, looks like my shutters are behaving normal...

I know your busy chap, can you do me a list of what standard

bulbs can be changed to what, type or part numbers, source

of supplies ? I can only think of external lighting ..

The only bulbs i have changed are the boot bulbs to SMD T10 9 Led's , these double the light in the boot area from standard. Most of the interior lights in mine are Led as standard , so nothing to change really.
