Advice Please - 1.4 Diesel

Featured Replies

Hi all, newbie here, please be gentle...

I've had my 1.4 TDCI 58 plate for a couple of months and have noticed when on the motorway, pootling along between 65 - 75 mph that the car seems to have a little surge and then pulls back again. I thought at first I was imagining it, but it's definitely there, just quite subtle.

I think I've noticed it at slower speeds around town too once or twice but due to not maintaining the same speed for long and changing up and down gears it doesn't happen very often.

I'm booking it in with the dealer while it still is under warranty but hoped you might be able to advise what it's likely to be as, being of the female persuasion, I don't want to risk getting fobbed off by the dealer.

Thanks

Moo
