04 Ka Constantly Blowing Hot Air Through Vents

Quick question, my GF has a 04 KA and the vents are constantly blowing hot air even when they are turned off.

Does anyone know the cause of this and roughly how much a fix would cost?

    check your ventilation knobs/switches and put it on recirculate

    It's not as simple as that I'm afraid, they really do pump out the heat, it doesn't change when you put them on full blast cold - with or without circulation

    If you turn them up do they blow harder, sounds like the temp knob has detached inside on hot

    the only time I get constant hot with the heating controls off is when I take it off recirculate and turn up the temperature control without actually putting the heating/fan switch on.If this doesn't work for you then you might have a thermostat or some other problem :-(
