Cd Changer Connector/adaptor

Featured Replies

Hi all,

I have a Mondeo Mk3 cd changer that I'd like to install in my Mondeo Mk4. It comes with the wiring loom (see pic), but the back of the head unit needs a regular rectangular Aux In quadlock connection.IMAG0013_zps5a815ca6.jpg

As you can see, I can have either a male or female square connector, as long as it is paired with a rectangular quadlock. Any idea where I could get such a thing? I'm almost tempted to cut off the end of the loom and manually solder the cables to an Aux-In (if I can find one). Would that work or am I deluded?

I know what most of you will say ('just use the jack to connect a mp3 player), but I have too many cds to transfer onto a hard drive...

Thanks for your help,

Boosh.
