Dpf Additive Tank

Featured Replies

Is there an diesel aditive tank on the 1.6 diesel 08 plate fusion? If so where is it and do I need to worry about it?

My first answer was no but if i look at this page ( http://eucatparts.com/?action=cat_ford_part&s_id_part=1167710&s_id_model=6 ) there could be one.problem with that site is that although you choose 1.6 diesel (or any other model that is) if you drop down through the parts tree it will still give all the equipment, also for the other models.

So i don't know if this is for a 1.6 diesel, if i look at the pics the tank must be any where underneath the bonnet, expecially if you look at the little pics with the filling stuff.

A 1.4 diesel doesn't have one so i don't think a 1.6 diesel has one but i'm not 100% sure.

Maybe if you go to this page ( http://www.etis.ford.com/ ) and put in your VIN there's a mention of it?

And otherwise a trip to a local ford dealer must shed some light on this i think?
