Ford Fiesta 1.6 Zetec W Reg - Hot Air Blowing Constantly

Featured Replies

Hey guys,

I have tried to live with this but its getting ridiculous.

My air con / heater fans are constantly blowing hot air through my car.....any ideas of parts I need?

Ebay links would be great

thank you

grahame

if you switch the fan from 0 - 4 does it adjust accordingly?

If it does, then it sounds like your AC needs regassing at best, worst case, by the cars age, I would suspect you may be looking at the AC Clutch mechanism...

Sounds like you have the common problem of a stuck heater control valve. Relatively easy to replace. Im pretty sure its the same as used on KA's and Puma's. Best get one from Fords as I have had the eBay ones fail after a few months.
