Hello i have a 2007 57 plate 1.6 tdci fiesta and i love it, just wanted to have some more info on my car,

Modifications:

Lowered on coilovers

Remapped

K&N panel filter

EGR blanked

Exhaust back box removed and replaced with a straight bit of pipe

Deep dish alloys with toyo proxie tyres

I plan to have a straight through exhaust made up ( de-cat and no back box )

just wondering what your thoughts are on doing this ?

also does anyone know what tourque these clutches can handle, and will it be likely to slip if i push it much more?

i Imagen the power of the car to be around 115-120 bhp ish its got bags of tourque and is real fun to drive

thanks in advance

Welcome,

Check out pumaspeed website for a decat flexi down pipe for your motor,

This will reduce turbo lag to almost nothing,

I'd still keep a rear muffler on it to be honest mate but its your car.

Your clutch will last if you drive it easy on take off

But if you use the newly encountered power in 1st 2nd 3rd 4th testing your 0-60 times then the clutch will last you 6 months if your lucky,

I recommend fitting a stage 2 clutch if your going to floor it in any gear except 5th

Sounds good, I take it easy on take off cause I don't want to turn my toyos into smoke haha il have a look at that decat pipe, id been struggling to find one anywhere so thanks :)

The egr vaulve blank is awesome I would recommend it to anyone theres now nearly no turbo lag pulls like a train from low revs where before it needed to be at 2000 rpm to even move, I also noticed ideal is alot smother and for £3,80 and 15 mins to fit I think it's one of the best mods I've done

Cheers for the info mate

Welcome to the family!

The EGR Blank is an excellent mod! I did this, and whilst I cursed its very name after fitting it (it was a long painful and hot day that day!) I certainly dont regret it.
