Part Comparison Required

Featured Replies

Hi Folks,

Can someone with Micro Cat or E-Cat have a quick look at something for me?

Can you take the Offside headlamp unit from the MK1 (2005) Focus CMAX, and compare its part number against the MK 2 (same sort of age) Focus Offside headlamp unit?

I believe they are identical, but cant say for definate, and it looks like I might need a new one!

What happened to your one?

Slightly different shape but very close.

Thanks Clive, that rules that idea out!

and James, its the upper leg / clip that you screw the torx screw into the mount in the engine bay to secure the light, this has snapped clean off. It currently is fixed with a mending plate and screws lol, but I doubt it will pass an MOT as I wouldnt be surprised if the alignment is now out.
