Hi all just had a diesel express tuning box delivered plugged it all in fine with no problems, it came on setting number 3 which I didn't notice much of an improvement, it's currently on setting number 5 they go from 1-8 I was just wondering if anyone had one of these and what's the best setting to be on for the power I didn't want to just crank it up to 8 in case I cause trouble.

Basically these settings are from 1 (standard engine running with a teeny tiny tweak) to 8 where its more map and no original behaviour!. Setting 3 tends to be a subtle tweak in favour of MPG and a tiny power gain, 5 will be a relative power increase, probably more torque than horsepower.

The best thing you can do is run it at 5 for a while and then see what happens, then knock it up to 6 then keep going. You may find that 7 or 8 will cause a bit of lumpy running and duff behavior but you have to give it a go to see whats the best.
