Rear Passenger Door Not Unlocking Mk2.5 2008 Titanium

Featured Replies

Went to open rear passenger door from the outside today and wouldn't open when I pulled the handle. Checked inside and the lock was still depressed, flicked it manually and it opened. All other doors fine.

Any ideas? Sticking solenoid?

Will have a look in the morning further.

Sounds like the motor or water ingress im assuming its been raining down there quite heavy

Yeah it has been, hammered down today.

Finally stopped raining so went and had a look.

Definately something sticking as it does unlock fully and can open when the mood suits!! Sat inside and locked doors and then unlocked using both fob and button on driver door handle and sometimes the rear door lock button doesn't click out fully. Locks fine but unlocking hit & miss. maybe take door skin off and investigate further.

I think some WD40 might be called for.
