Hi, I know our S Max Titanium is only 24 hours in old and I am working my way through the handbook, several times. A question that I cannot seem to find an answer for in the book. The auto lights work very well, on in a flash. At the moment it has been on dipped beam only, despite travelling on country lanes, with no lighting, or other cars. The main beam does not seem to come on automatically. Is there something I should be doing to activate it? Any help appreciated.

    Some of the newer ford's do actually have auto high beam, I know the new focus does as an optional extra

    Thank for your reply. I was reading the manual again and it talks about the autolamps and under what conditions it will switch the main beam off, ie street lights, other cars etc. might have to delve further into the information display, regards
