Rear Heated Window

Why is my rear window only clearing the top half

Why is my rear window only clearing the top half

Check your fuses,

It may be two fuses on for top half and one for bottom,

The focus heated windscreen works in this way; on two fuses,

If a fuse blows you end up with a perfect split divide one side clear other side still frozen or frosted.

Also check you have no broken elements this could also stop the other side from working

Front has 2 fuses back 1 and its ok so will check elements next

You may need to look very close , a small scratch can easily break the circuit. You can buy some liquid repair from Halfruads

Ok thanks will look

Also you might find that its the point where the wire meets the element. I had this on a front windscreen, it had separated. The windscreen repair fella came out and just soldered the wire back to the element, job done! could well be the same for you?
