Hi everyone, long time Ford owner here. Started off with a Mk1 Escort back in 1977 which I rolled and wrote off after only two weeks (my fault). Then followed a rotten Mk2 Escort. I stayed away from Fords for a few years but returned when they started making decent cars again. A Mk1 Mondeo TD then a Mk2 Mondeo 2.0l petrol. Then a Mk1 Focus which stayed in the family for almost 10 years. The wife had a new Ka which we were not really impressed with. I bought a Focus 2.0 TDCi in 2006 and have put 125k miles on it. It is still serves me well on my 70 mile a day commute and has been totally reliable (touch wood). A few weeks ago I bought a Fiesta Titanium 125 Ecoboost for the wife. I'm really impressed with the engine in the car. Its so smooth and quiet at 80mph. Hopefully this engine will prove reliable in the long term if looked after.
