2010 Mk7 Zetec S - Replacing Dash Monitor

Featured Replies

Basically I want to replace the console monitor on the dash with an aftermarket one that includes GPS, etc - not too dissimilar to this but for the 2010 model - http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/AUTORADIO-DVD-GPS-NAVI-3G-DVR-Capable-BLUETOOTH-IPOD-Player-FORD-FIESTA-2011-/281067324542?pt=UK_Audio_TV_Electronics_In_Car_Entertainment_GPS_In_Car_Audio_Players_PP&hash=item4170eb047e

If anyone could point me in the right direction or tell me of any past experience regarding this, I'd appreciate it, this is my first car and as such I'm not as experienced or in the know as some of you guys, haha.

Thanks.

Could anyone please share some insight and advice on this? I'm looking to do this asap, and any help would be appreciated.

I've not used one personally, but I've not heard the best reviews of them.

My friend bought exactly the same one as you have listed there, personally i wouldnt bother the amount of endless wires he has put in to get the thing to work, new antenna for the gps the Bluetooth didnt work with his radio and all sorts happened to it, in the end he ripped it out and sold it again. If you really want one get a professional to fit it dont go it alone its soul destroying looking at where to feed wires to and what does that and this do blah blah blah, it takes time lol

Thanks. I've also heard mixed reviews regarding these now after looking at a few threads. I think if I go ahead I'll have to go and get someone who know's what they're doing to fit it; I can't be bothered with the hassle and frustration of wires, haha.

It sucks that this isn't easy to do, the current system is fine, I'd just like an all in one system though and in colour. if I go ahead I'll keep ypu all updated with my progress, thanks again.
