Mirror Parking Fiesta Old Shape 08 Tdci 1.6

My wing mirror has started clicking when going to the parked position. It does 3 or 4 clicks then stops works fine apart from this. It may have been tampered with parked on street in Ludlow Rock concert Sat night bag of chips on floor beside. I have lubricated what I can with silicone lubricant so I don't think it is just stiff. Last night, Ludlow, the mirror was clicking and would not open so I just helped it a bit, today opening fine but clicking on final bit of closing.

Any one know anything about them tell me what to do. Ta
