Hi guys

hope someone could help? My daughters fiesta 1.2 zetec 1998 ghia has an issue with the driver lock mechanism which means that it does not lock the car with the key only unlock. My daughter has asked if i would fit a remote locking kit to the car for her so she can lock and unlock from a remote but are having some issure understanding what i am actually looking for. in the instructions of the kit she bought it asks whether the vehicle is a positive or negative trigger type - canyou help with this as i can not find any information to help me here. i then need to identify the wires i am looking for in the driver footwell. I seem to get differing information as to the colours i am after, could someone please help me here as well
