Fiesta Mk5 1.3 Clutch Replacement

Featured Replies

hey my girlfriend has a Fiesta MK5 1.3 its done 93000 miles and the clutch needs doing i was looking at ebay at some clutch kits and ya can get a 2 piece clutch kit for £40 but is it worth replacing anything else whilst i've got it all in bits?

cheers andy

I think there is a cylinder? That works with the clutch. My brother replaced the clutch on a fiesta and then told me the cylinder went so it all had to come apart again.

His was a mk4 fiesta if that helps

Sent from my GT-I8190N using Ford OC mobile app

agreed, for the amount of work involved will be worth changing the slave cylinder/release bearing at the same time....doubt that will last even half the lifetime of the other new clutch parts

Do the release bearing. It gets noisy over time so isn't bad to do at all.
