Rossbclarke123
Hi all, very simple question here, I just know nothing about bulbs and looking online I got more and more confused! I currently drive a 2013 focus Zetec white Ecoboost and have ordered another for collection In end of December again Zetec Ecoboost but in black. Now I have noticed in my car that the lights are not fantastic. does anyone know what is best to upgrade these with. I would like to ensure they are street legal, but a brighter white crisper look. Does the main beam also need to be upgraded? Guessing bulb upgrades won't void and warranty? Thanks for your help.
btmaldon
I have just upgraded to these: http://www.amazon.co.uk/Osram-Night-Breaker-64210NBP-Headlight/dp/B0047N0B0U/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1386021606&sr=8-1&keywords=H7+Osram+Nightbreaker Have used these on numerous cars in the past and have been very pleased with the results. Great value at the moment to. Should add, that I only upgraded the dipped beam. No point doing full beam as these are pretty good on the Focus anyway, unless you really want to. You will probably need H1's for those.
PB2005
Used those on my old car and they are great. However many people complain they don't last long. Mine lasted 4 years before one blew. I suspect many people don't read the instructions and handle the glass part leaving grease on it. This causes hot spots and the bulb burns out fast. Handle with rubber gloves or kitchen paper.
