I was wondering us it ok to use other car shampoos on it other then the Smart Guard stuff has I have to keep ordering online and the charge me £10 just for p&p. Gary.J Posted December 4, 2013 Share Posted December 4, 2013 Modern car shampoos usually have something written on the packaging telling you that their product does not remove wax or protective coatings. These would be ok for your car, but the smartguard shampoo likely has a little something in it, to keep topping up the protection though.
