Egan117
Hi can any one help just bought a mk6 st 26,000 miles with a fsh and when I press the clutch pedal it makes a springy noise. What can I do to stop it?
Nathan_M
Pretty normal if it's what mine does its then actuator spring, mine does it worse when it's not been driven for a day or 2 you could get down and perhaps give it a taste of wd40 but I'm not sure if it's sealed so probably not I just ignore it now so don't notice it much, shouldn't cause a problem. Egan117
Nothing to worry about then? I only here it occasionally but I just sprayed wd40 on the spring I think was making the noise hopefully it goes. Just started to panic incase it was gonna be expensive after just getting the car on Saturday.
Nathan_M
Well mine does it and has done for 12 months since I have had it, so I wouldn't get hung up on it, how far up the pedal is your clutch bite?
