Fiesta St Mk6 Clutch Makes Springy Noise

Featured Replies

Hi can any one help just bought a mk6 st 26,000 miles with a fsh and when I press the clutch pedal it makes a springy noise. What can I do to stop it?

Pretty normal if it's what mine does its then actuator spring, mine does it worse when it's not been driven for a day or 2 you could get down and perhaps give it a taste of wd40 but I'm not sure if it's sealed so probably not I just ignore it now so don't notice it much, shouldn't cause a problem.

Nothing to worry about then? I only here it occasionally but I just sprayed wd40 on the spring I think was making the noise hopefully it goes. Just started to panic incase it was gonna be expensive after just getting the car on Saturday.

Well mine does it and has done for 12 months since I have had it, so I wouldn't get hung up on it, how far up the pedal is your clutch bite?
