I'm about to have a go at changing the indicator stalk on my MK4 fiesta. Ive found pretty good instructions of how to do it, but thought I'd double check that this is likely to fix the problem:

The left stalk seems to have become very sensitive. When indicating, unless it is carefully clicked straight upwards, the full beem comes on and stays on! It seems to be only when indicating right, and if you use a slight amount of pressure backwards (ie towards the driver).

Is this anything anyone has come accross before? and is there anything I should be checking before changing the whole stalk?
