Oil And Filter Change

Featured Replies

I was going to do oil and filter change but unsure if you need to remove the airfilter housing to gain access to the oil filter. Fiesta 1.6 tdci 95ps 2011. Sorry if this has already been discussed.

Tried searching but could not find anything..

Cheers

Hi Last year had a oil & filter change done at Ford rapid fit about £30 oil and filter, cost more than this in parts. as your car is under 3 years old? don't think I would take the risk of putting in cheap oil to save money? . Yes I think you have to take off the air filter and the sump cover plus new drain plug gasket. If you go with all Ford Parts think they would cost about £39.(oil& Filter)it may not be worth time and mess.if you have a rapid fit near you give them a ring and find the cost.

Thanks for the reply. I've got the parts but seems a lot of hassle. Ford it is then.

First time I've threw in the towel.......
