Ask A Stupid Question...

Evening folks, ive been trying to change all the dash light's in my mk 6 ST from green to blue. Cant work out how to do the heater controls though. Seen a video on youtube last night and the guy had done it to his.... anyone have any ideas how he would have managed to do it?

Cheers

Steve

Haha I've changed everything to blue except for the heater controls, the reason being is the only way to do it is to physically cut around each illuminated bit, scrape away the green filter, change the bulbs to blue LED's which involves soldering new bulbs in position and glueing each section back on. It's a nightmare and you can very easily end up butchering the heater panel doing it

I've done all of mine apart from the led screens on the speedo and the heater switches. God knows why :( I was gona buy a spare heater control and attempt it but I'm not planning on keeping my fez much longer :)
