Remap?

Hello.

I have a 55 plate ford focus 1.8tdci estate. I am considering getting it remapped in order to get better performance but mainly for the fuel economy.

Is this worthwhile getting done? Just wondered people's opinions and if anyone has had it done on their cars? I live in the devon area so any recommendations would be great!

Thank you

Its always worth doing. You can get a lot from it, but to really benefit you need a good service first, then remap second. Diesels get the most horsepower per £1 spent, and between bhp and Torque you can make it worth your while over the long term!

I have a Bluefin remap on my car, it puts out an average of 148bhp but that is a Police spec map through work.

If you look on the Superchips website you may get some pointers.

There are quite a few tuners in the South West that will do a rolling road remap which will give you the best results possible to suit your car as it stands currently.

Thanks everyone. Think I'm going to get it done.

Just got to work out the best place in Devon area now and lowest cost.

Superchips are great and if you get the bluefin you can always put it back to standard and use it as a fault code reader! :)
