Number Plate Led's

Featured Replies

Any recommendations? I have had a couple of sets in the last 3 years. The most recent being a set from halfrauds....literally one has lasted 2 months!!

I use dx.com, not because they're good, they are cheap though.

I just got mine off ebay. Had them in the best part of a year and they work a treat. I think yours are the 501 Wedge arent they?

Yeah thats right the plates are the same bulb as side lights on the mk2.5. Have ordered a set off autobulbs direct. Just peed off with halfrauds !Removed! as gotta remove the boot trim again to get access to the bulb holder. well this is the easiest way rather than remove bulb holder from outside. Peeing down outside tonight so thats a non starter.

Why u removing the inside boot trim to access the bulbs. From outside takes less than 5 seconds to pop out the whole lights case. Then simple push and click back in place.

I tried to remove them before from the outside using a smalll allen key and bust one of the housings so don't wanna repeat.

I've done if a few times now so know how to remove the trim - its pretty simple.

From memory I just did mine with a very small flat blade screw driver from the outside. Easy to do without damaging and only takes about 5 seconds as Luke said. Definitely no need to remove boot trim on the MK2.5

I have Osram LED's in mine and very please with them so far. Seem good quality and nice and bright.

why would you pay that price for 2 LED's i know they are osrams but i just got LED's from a uk seller on ebay for £2.99 with free next day postage and they are guaranteed as well
