i know but wnna make ot standerd and the sound is on the back of the cd player and it has a tape player

Im pretty sure there was never a CD player made for the Sierra. It was before CD Players existed.

Im pretty sure there was never a CD player made for the Sierra. It was before CD Players existed.

CDs were developed by Philips and Sony, in the late 70s, the 1st commercial CD player was sold in 1981,

http://www.techradar.com/news/world-of-tech/8-technologies-to-thank-the-1980s-for-635764

the First in-car CD player was from 1984, from Pioneer, years before the OPs Sierra

its possible he could get a player that would have been fitted to the Sierra at the time

in the 80s CDs/ players (especially in car) were for rich HI-FI enthusiasts, by the early 90s, they were more commonplace, by 1993, CD singles were released that were not on 7" vynil

I had a look and ive got a CD from 1987 in my collection

did you know:-

The reason a cd is 74mins long is because Sony wanted Beethovens 9th synphony to fit on one CD (Sony/ BMG publishes a lot of classical music)

There were CD players around then but they were separate units you could bolt in under the dash or put into the glove box. I had an early Sierra Ghia and a late Sierra Sapphire Ghia, neither of which you could get a Ford Sierra style CD Player for. Sure, any after market CD player would still fit but I thought Michael was after an original Sierra CD Player.

Yah I would like a ford CD player on my Sierra. Unless it was another ford CD player from 1992

I cant find any Ford single DIN CD Players from that year. Even the early Mondeo's came with tape players.
