Bonnet Arm Clip Mk7 Fiesta

Featured Replies

Hi all,

I've recently bought a 2009 Fiesta, but the bonnet arm clip was snapped when I got it. I bought a new one on ebay but i'm having trouble removing the old clip from the car! Has anyone else removed one of these before and can share a tip or trick on how to get it off?

A picture of the clip can be found here: http://i.ebayimg.com/t/GENUINE-FORD-Bonnet-Prop-Arm-Stay-Clip-Fiesta-2008-2013-New-Yellow-/00/s/MTIwMFgxNjAw/$(KGrHqRHJEUFHWlRiCqOBR7(OCtCJg~~60_58.JPG

Any help would be great, thanks!

Try pushing the old clip to the rear and lifting up.

If need be just cut the old one off with a Dremel or similar.

I've got the same issue (also on a Mk7 Fiesta) - if I break the old clip as I remove it, does the new one merely slide on forwards?
