Heater On 3 And 4

Featured Replies

Hi on my focus mk2 heater only working no 3 and 4 any ideas what it can be?

thanks

Rio state or wiring

When on 3 or 4, does the fan work as it should or is the speed slower than normal?

I had a similar issue on a KA and it turned out to be the switch...

most likly heater resistor pack.

Relatively easy and cheap repair, done it a couple of times on mk1 and 1.5. Access tricky for some as it's under the glove box.

Take the glovebox out, and with a torch, you can see it away in the distance, near the bulkhead, imagine somewhere behind the stereo.

When I did mine, I changed the pollen filter too.

If you're doing this, don't mess about - take the fusebox out completely (make sure you have your radio code!)

It's perfect gynaecology practice. And you'll get your arms scratched.
