Djianb
I've Found a tuning / remap centre that do it for £180 all in, have promised gains of 25bhp and 40nm this sound realistic and safe? They offer a lifetime guarantee. Currently have the 125bhp 1.0 ecoboost engine. Anyone offer there opinion on this?

Djianb
Yeah that's fine just wanted to make sure it's safe
jeebowhite
to be honest, the extra horses at that price are not worth losing your warranty. If your engine blows up now, then your alright, you get a new shiny engine free of charge, if you do it without the warranty, you will be spending a lot more money replacing it. For a bit more power and 150bhp, its not worth the risk. If you really want a boost, ask ford who are approved (non warranty voiding) remappers. Dope_Diamond
I'm pretty sure I've heard mountune and puma speed upgrades don't affect your warranty? Have a look see if they do remaps :)
