would brake cleaner be ok to clean the throttle body and maf sensor etc. i used it on my old car and everything was fine just wondering if i should leave it alone with a focus.

also i believe i have the vacuum hose problems any suggestions on how to find it

    Personally I wouldn't use it to clean the mad sensor but the throttle body should be fine. I use it as a general degreaser sometimes with no issues

    cheers not even sure where the maf sensor is tbh lol only had the car a few weeks just got a bad idle at the moment.

    If you look at the hose coming from the air box to the throttle body it should be quite obvious, my 1.6 didn't have one though so.
