Mk 2 Standard Stereo Ipod Connetion???

I have a 2007 mk2 and i am sure i have noticed that there is an aux button and i'd like to connect my iphone up to the stereo and wondered if this is do able?

Presumably it is just a matter of buying the right lead and removing stereo and then plug and play or am i over simplyfying it lol

guessing it is this one i need then voila oh and some stereo removal keys

    Have you checked whether you already have an aux socket in the glovebox?

    If not then that cable will work fine.

    You won't have remote control of the phone though.

    No i've not checked to see if i have an aux socket in the glvoebox but when i get home i will check at the weekend before i order any parts i may not need.
