Fiesta Flip Key Conversion

Featured Replies

I was thinking about buying a flip key case on eBay to replace my current standard fixed key. It says I just need to swap the internals from my current key to the new key and get the blade cut. Is this
correct or would I have to do something else?

This is the item http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/171049732559?ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1423.l2649

This is my first post so thanks for the help in advance

Aye, that will work.

Just make sure you also swap over the transponder chip or the car won't start.

You'll find the RCL board in your original key is held on with melted plastic pins, be careful with the circuit board tracks while removing and you'll do fine.
